I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Christian Sex Therapist in private practice at Bridgeway Counseling Group, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia. I specialize in the treatment of sexual abuse and trauma, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders as well as same-sex issues and gender identity disorders. I also work with pre-marital couples, couples and families. I am currently fulfilling my AAMFT Approved Supervision in Training with post-graduates seeking to obtain licensure and licensed practitioners looking for marriage and family or sex therapy/sexual trauma supervision/case consultation. My research is focused on the population and treatment of children and adults in the commercial sex trafficking trade. I am the Dean of Clinical Affairs and assistant professor for my alma mater, Richmont Graduate University and the Academic Dean for the Institute for Sexual Wholeness. I speak at organizations, universities and churches across the nation on all aspects of healthy sexuality, trauma & abuse, as well as Christian counseling and the church.
I graduated from Oral Roberts University with a degree in sports broadcasting and business. After spending a number of years in television, newspaper, sales, and marketing before I changed my career path, I ultimately went to graduate school to study Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Christian Sex Therapy at Psychological Studies Institute, now known as Richmont Graduate University. I completed my Counselor Education and Supervision PhD at Regent University.
MY PASSION AND CALL:
To see those bound and enslaved to sexual brokenness set free and walking in the healing that they were created to walk in.
